The problem
Physicians are paid per work RVU (relative value unit), but almost none can see whether their target, or their dollars-per-wRVU rate, is actually fair. The math is opaque, changes every year with the CMS fee schedule, and is different for every specialty. So doctors sign contracts, and hit productivity targets, largely in the dark.
What we built
RVU Pulse turns that black box into a tool a physician can actually use:
- An interactive calculator built on the 2026 CMS Physician Fee Schedule, with per-specialty CPT libraries spanning 18 medical specialties (150+ codes for orthopedic surgery, 126+ for gastroenterology, and so on).
- Benchmarking against MGMA medians, so a doctor can see where they land against their field.
- Income forecasting and a productivity tracker that follows performance over time.
- An AI contract analyzer that reads a physician’s employment agreement and surfaces what matters.
- SEO-tuned, per-specialty landing pages, a real go-to-market strategy, not just a build.
Why it matters
This is the ceiling of what JavaDog builds. It’s genuine data architecture, ingesting and structuring the full CMS fee schedule across thousands of CPT codes, wrapped around a live computation engine, industry benchmarking, and a real AI application solving a high-value, niche professional problem. Most agencies build the marketing site for a product like this. We built the product.
